Utilizing digitalization to improve the village economy, the PPK Ormawa Team of BEM FEB Unud holds digital marketing training based on customer relationship management.
Tabanan, Implementation Team of PPK Ormawa BEM FEB Unud: The Implementation Team of the Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (BEM FEB Unud) carried out Worista Vol. 2 activities: Digital Marketing Training and Business Meetings (Initial Launching of Wedang Karsa Products in the Village) on September 19, 2023, which took place at Karyasari Village Gor, Pupuan, Tabanan. This activity was attended by the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, Head of UPKP, Reviewer Team, Karyasari Village Business Pioneer Group, and the PPK Ormawa Implementation Team of BEM FEB Unud. The purpose of this Worista Vol. 2 activity is to provide training and understanding to the Karyasari Village business start-up group regarding how to market Wedang Karsa products on digital media. With this activity, it is hoped that the Karyasari Village business start-up group can implement this digital marketing knowledge to brand and market Wedang Karsa products so that they can be recognized by a wide audience both regionally, nationally, or even internationally. Then there is also an agenda for a business meeting and the launch of Wedang Karsa products in the village as a follow-up to the business meeting that was previously carried out by the team at the 56th anniversary of FEB Unud.
The implementation of Worista Vol. 2 raised two topics of material, namely "Developing Marketing Strategies Through Digital Promotion" presented by I Made Denny Wahyu Aditya as a member of the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB Unud Team and material related to "Implementation of Digital Marketing in E-Commerce with Customer Relationship Management Based" presented by Ni Komang Risa Pebriyanthi as a member of one of the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB Unud Executive Team. In this activity, an international digital marketing certification account was also created, which was accompanied by the Executive Team of PPK Ormawa BEM FEB Unud to provide a basic understanding of the world of digital marketing to the community.
This activity is one of the great opportunities for the community to explore digital marketing strategies. Drs. I Ketut Kartika, Head of the Student Affairs Bureau of Udayana University, is also very proud of the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB Unud Team for successfully passing the funding. He also hopes that this program will be smooth and can develop sustainably. "Hopefully this brand can continue to grow. I give appreciation to BEM FEB Unud students for participating in empowering the community. Hopefully, this program can be run sustainably by the Karyasari Village community business start-up group. Hopefully, this product can be packaged in such a way that it can attract the attention of potential buyers," he said. In addition, he also hopes that Wedang Karsa products can be marketed at the Udayana University Anniversary Stand because it can provide a forum and a great opportunity for the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB Unud Team and Karyasari Village to introduce Wedang Karsa products to new students, lecturers, and the entire Udayana University community.
In line with Dr. I Ketut Kartika, the Perbekel of Karyasari Village also hopes that this program can run according to plan so that it can help the welfare of the community and also the economy of Karyasari Village. "Hopefully this program can be implemented according to our expectations, considering that 90% of the people of Karyasari Village work as coffee farmers. The coffee is only sold in its entirety without being processed by the people of Karyasari Village. With new innovations through mentoring and the knowledge possessed by students, hopefully this coffee production can be optimized and marketed for the village and also out of the village so that it can compete with coffee competitors," he said. Not only that, in the future, the Bumdes will empower and market to the community, even though the production is carried out by the Karyasari Village business pilot group, accompanied by the PPK Ormawa Team of BEM FEB Unud.
