The Accounting Undergraduate Study Program Conducts Dissemination Activities for Even Semester 2021/2022 Learning Activities
Welcoming the Even Semester 2021/2022 lectures which will be held from 7 February to 16 June 2022, the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (PSSA FEB Unud) carries out a dissemination of learning activities. The activity was held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at the MM Building, Rooms 3.1 and 3.2. There were two main agendas discussed at the event, namely: 1) learning activities for Even Semester 2021/2022; and 2) activity plans for the 2022 Accounting Undergraduate Study Program.
The dissemination was attended by 36 people or 72 percent of the number of active lecturers. The event was opened directly by Koprodi Bachelor of Accounting, Dr. Eka Ardhani Sisdyani, SE., Ak., M.Com., and continued with an explanation of the plan for implementing learning activities in the Even Semester 2021/2022. Lectures will still be conducted online, while thesis testing and proposal seminars will be conducted offline. The thesis mentoring process can be carried out both online and offline, especially for offline ones it must be carried out on campus. With regard to the implementation of lectures, Koprodi emphasizes that it should be implemented using the case study and team-based project methods as mandated in the semester learning plans (RPS) of each subject. This aims to improve the quality of learning and ultimately have a positive impact on institutional performance, especially the achievement of key performance indicators (KPI). Furthermore, Koprodi asked the lecturers to document the application of the learning method in the form of project modules, case study modules, and student working papers. The implementation of this learning will be evaluated and monitored at the end of each semester by the Study Program TPPM.
In order to implement the independent learning-independent campus (MBKM) activities, FEB Unud has published a Curriculum Book that has accommodated the implementation of the MBKM program. Koprodi urges lecturers, especially academic supervisors (PA) to provide information on the MBKM program since students sit in Semester III, so that students get adequate information to prepare for MBKM starting in Semester V. Lecturers who get assignments as field supervisors are reminded to monitor and provide adequate guidance to students participating in MBKM.
The second agenda is the presentation of the planned activities that will be carried out by PSSA FEB Unud in the 2022 budget year, especially related to the implementation of the Tridharma of lecturers. Koprodi hopes that all lecturers can be involved in implementing 2022 activities and planning activities for the coming period. Lecturer input for the improvement of PSSA FEB includes procedures for guidance, thesis testing and student scientific publications; distribution of guiding and testing assignments; dissemination of research results and other activities to improve the academic atmosphere. The activity closed with a group photo and lunch.
As stated in the quality standards of lecturers and education staff owned by the Accounting Study Program, it is stated that lecturers and education staff are human resources that are very decisive in the higher education system. So they are human resources that determine the success of the study program. By seeing the importance of human resources, quality lecturers are a major need, because of their role as a driver of all things related to scientific and academic activities. Furthermore, it is stated in the quality standard that Lecturers play a very strategic role for the progress of a university. In other words, the lecturers will determine whether the study program has graduates or not. Related to this, the standards of relevant lecturers and education personnel are needed so that the quality of higher education continues to improve in a sustainable manner. To obtain conclusions and determine which lecturer or education staff will improve their competence, and what kind of competence will be sought, of course, requires media in a lecturer meeting. In carrying out their professional duties, lecturers and education staff are obliged to create a conducive academic atmosphere, commitment to work professionalism, be creative and innovative to improve the quality of education and set an example for students. To be able to find out whether a lecturer has carried out his duties professionally, through a student satisfaction survey it can be seen how the views of students are related to it, and the media needed to socialize or convey the views of these students is through the media of lecturer meetings, so that lecturer meetings can be said as part from study program activities which are very essential in program implementation
