Udayana University Plans to Hold Graduations Online during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Wednesday (4/22/2020) at the 2nd Floor Language Room, Rector Building, Jimbaran Campus, a limited meeting was held with respect to the Covid-19 prevention protocol. The meeting discussed the implementation of the 136th Udayana University graduation which was originally to be held online. The meeting was chaired by the Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. dr. A A. Raka Sudewi, Sp.S. (K) and attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, Vice Chancellor for Public and Financial Affairs Prof. Dr. I Gst. Bgs. Wiksuana, S.E., M.S., Chair of the Information Resources Unit Dr. Nyoman Putra Sastra, ST., MT., Head of Academic and Statistics I Made Yusnantara, ST and Head of Subdivision in the Academic and Statistics Section. As is known in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, it is also demanded that teaching and learning practices, including services to students, which were initially held manually, change to Online. Including one of them is the implementation of the 136th Graduation event which will be held online. Related to this it is necessary to prepare carefully, especially in the IT field. In the online graduation ceremony, Udayana University plans to use the Webex application. To support this, a guide will be made that contains more detailed information related to the procedures and mechanism for implementing the online graduation and will be informed to prospective graduates and related parties.
