Sparkling in Words: Wiwit Sukmayanti, FEB Unud Student Achieved First Place in Knight 2023 Essay Competition
Denpasar, Press Bureau of BEM FEB Unud, Gusti Ayu Putu Wiwit Sukmayanti, a student of the Accounting Undergraduate Study Program class of 2021, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, has succeeded in obtaining a proud achievement at the national level, namely as the first winner in the Knight 2023 Essay Competition organized by the Hindu Dharma Student Family Student Activity Unit of Yogyakarta State University in June. Successfully winning the essay competition this time certainly carved a meaningful history in the process of Wiwit Sukmayanti's struggle in the field of writing. With a challenging theme, Wiwit Sukmayanti won this award thanks to her writing skills and deep thinking.
A great result does not escape from struggle, process, and maximum effort. Wiwit Sukmayanti shared about the experience and journey behind her achievement and explained that through the competitions she has participated in so far, she has learned many things, from preparation for the competition to self-management. This competition is not just about the final result but also the invaluable process of learning and self-improvement.
The labor-intensive and time-consuming process made Wiwit Sukmayanti's efforts worthwhile. Wiwit Sukmayanti expressed her happiness after winning first place in this competition. "My feelings are definitely happy. For me, this victory is the result of struggle and learning from previous experiences. I am also happy to see the support from the people around me, especially my parents, who are proud of this achievement," she said.
The process of participating in the Knight Essay Competition is inseparable from the challenges to victory. Wiwit Sukmayanti explained that in her efforts to win the competition, the preparation process was more about finding ideas and developing them into an essay that fits the theme. During the process, she tried to stay focused and creative. Wiwit Sukmayanti is a student who is quite active in student activities, so this sometimes becomes another challenge in her struggle. However, challenges never stop Wiwit Sukmayanti's spirit to continue to explore her potential in academics and other fields. In addition, she shared her views on how to deal with these obstacles. "For time problems, I myself try to make a priority scale, then also try to classify which activities are important (urgent), and most certainly I am always helped by the to-do list that I make. For ideas, maybe if I keep trying to find more references, such as brainstorming, including brainstorming with ideas that I might have tried to raise before, and then develop them again," she said.
Wiwit Sukmayanti's success in the Knight 2023 Essay Competition is a reflection of her dedication and hard work. Wiwit Sukmayanti also hopes that all students can be more active in exploring their potential and trying to become a better version than before. "One day or day one, you decide! Not only that, she also advised that in this digital era, do not be afraid to try, and of course, it will provide many opportunities to learn and develop. Do not hesitate to try new things that are interesting to ourselves.
