Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University Held a 19th Covid Handling Service Evaluation Meeting with the Director of the Unud Hospital and Chair of the Bali Province Covid Task Force

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University and the ranks of the Covid-19 Handling Service Evaluation Meeting with the Director of Unud Hospital and Chair of the Bali Province Covid Task Force on Thursday (4/23/2020). On the same occasion the Secretary of Bali Province reviewed the readiness of the Unud Hospital Lab, located in the Meeting Room of the Unud Hospital.

Covid-19 handling evaluation meeting was attended by the Dean of FK Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa with Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Dr. dr. A A Wiradewi Lestari, Director of Unud Hospital Dr.dr. Dewa Gede Purwa Samatra, Sp.S., Coordinators of the FK Unud Specialist Education Study Program, Prof.dr. Ketut Tuti Parwati Merati, Sp.PD-KPTI, FINASIM, Dr. dr. I Ketut Agus Somia, Sp.PD-KPTI., Dr. I Made Susila Utama, Sp.PD-KPTI., Dr. A A Ayu Yuli Gayatri, Sp.PD-KPTI and Dr. Ni Made Dewi Dian Sukmawati., Sp.PD-KPTI. The meeting was also attended by the Chairperson of the Bali Province Covid Task Force Dr. D.G Basudewa, SpKJ.

In this evaluation meeting, the FK Dean said that the Internal Medicine Specialist Education Study Program became the backbone and frontline of the Covid-19 service at Unud Hospital and assisted by other station residents who had been assigned by the Hospital Management.

During the evaluation meeting, Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra who was accompanied by the Head of the Bali Provincial Health Service Dr. Ketut Suarjaya MPH visited to ensure the readiness of the Unud Hospital Laboratory to conduct a Covid-19 diagnostic examination. Regional Secretary hopes that Unud Hospital can become a center of excellence and become a model for handling quality Covid patients in Bali.

The Dean of FK Unud and the Director of Unud Hospital and the Team accompanied the Secretary of Bali Province to directly observe the readiness of the Unud Hospital Lab. When reviewing the Lab was also accompanied by Dr.rer.nat. Ni Nyoman Ayu Dewi (Chair of the Integrated Biomedical Lab Unit FK Unud) as the Coordinator of the PCR Examination in Lab Unud Hospital.
