Achieving Proud Achievements, Three Management Study Program Students Won Third Place in Business Creation in the Business Management Network 2023 Event

Denpasar, Press Bureau of BEM FEB Unud: Three students of the Undergraduate Management Study Program, Ni Nyoman Ayu Sintya Dewi, Kania Putri Susanto, and Ni Made Putri Savita Tenaya, won third place in the Business Creation competition in the Business Management Network 2023 National Competition held in Surakarta on March 8–9, 2023. This competition is organized by the Indonesian Management Forum (DKI) Jakarta regional office. The purpose of holding this competition is to encourage students' knowledge of business principles, concepts, and practices. In addition, this program also supports students' creativity and critical thinking in solving sustainable business problems.

Ayu Sintya, the team leader, expressed her excitement about participating in this competition. Business Management Network 2023 National Competition, abbreviated as BMNC, is the starting point of the competition adventure with her team. By participating in this competition, they feel they can add new skills, namely problem solving and public speaking. For Ayu Sintya, BMNC is an opening opportunity for her team to bring Debog's business idea to life in another competition, P2MW.

Behind their success in winning 3rd place in the BMNC event, of course they had significant obstacles during the competition process. They are management students who both come from the marketing management concentration, so they feel constrained because among the three of them, they do not understand the other concentrations needed. That's where they realized the importance of having a team with different expertise. However, it certainly did not dampen their dreams to strive to understand and deepen their knowledge in other areas that they had not mastered. In addition, ideas were also one of the two problems they experienced. The committee gave a very broad theme, which made it difficult for them to find innovative ideas. However, it is reliable and necessary for the market. Therefore, the brainstorming took a long time and a lot of research.

Despite the obstacles they faced, they remained confident in their team's abilities. They do a lot of benchmarking and research on insightful platforms, both on social media and from other trusted sources. They are also not reluctant to utilize networking by learning more from people who are experts in their fields. They advised students, especially in the Faculty of Economics and Business, to be more aware of the developments that continue to occur because lately, business competition fighters are not only from FEB. Therefore, don't get stuck in your comfort zone and increase your curiosity to learn other things beyond your ability.

The process is not an easy one; it takes a long time to get to this point. Therefore, stay curious and thirsty for knowledge so that you can get out of your comfort zone and provide your own uniqueness.

Finally, they are very grateful to the Faculty of Economics and Business for facilitating their competition. Hopefully, their experience can be a motivation for FEB students to achieve more. Even if they fail later, at least the experience can be a stepping stone to achieving more. (srk)
